A Walk on the Beach

I took a day trip to Kadyny, located by the Vistula Lagoon, around 23 kilometers from Elbląg. It is a pretty town, surrounded by a natural landscape park and a forest reserve. I walked along the small beach, observing interesting vegetation and sea shells on the shore. It was quite chilly because of the wind, but the sand was warm and it felt nice to walk barefoot. The beach was peaceful with only few people there, some of them with surf boards. I am still discovering Poland, with every trip realising more and more how beautiful it is.

Wybrałam się do miejscowości Kadyny, położonej nad Zalewem Wiślanym, około 23 kilometrów od Elbląga. Jest to ładne miasteczko, otoczone parkiem krajobrazowym i leśnym rezerwatem. Spacerowałam po małej piaszczystej plaży, obserwując ciekawą roślinność i muszelki wyrzucone przez fale na brzeg. Było dość chłodno ze względu na wiatr, ale piasek był ciepły i przyjemnie było chodzić po nim boso. Plaża była spokojna, a ludzi niewiele, kilka osób pływało na deskach. Wciąż odkrywam Polskę, a każda wycieczka pokazuje mi coraz bardziej, jak piękny jest to kraj.
