Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh

It took fourty years for the painter Jacques Majorelle to create this beautiful dreamy garden in Marrakesh. Yves Saint Laurent fell in love with it and bought it in the 80s, saving it from destruction. I was mesmerised by the garden's lovely vivid colours - greens, blues and yellows. Jardin Majorelle is an oasis of peace and a wonderful break from the busy life of the city.

Czterdzieści lat zajęło malarzowi Jacques'owi Majorelle stworzenie tego pięknego, czarującego ogrodu w Marakeszu. W latach osiemdziesiątych kupił go francuski projektant Y.S. Laurent, ratując ogród przed zniszczeniem. Duże wrażenie zrobiły na mnie wspaniałe intensywne kolory - zieleń, niebieski i żółty. Jardin Majorelle to oaza spokoju i miłe wytchnienie od szybkiego rytmu miasta.
